Study Tour 1: Tokyo, Kyoto, Wakayama, Nakatsugawa - Japan

Our client’s objective was to deepen product knowledge and strengthen alignment between their brand and its dealership network. Incentive Action designed and delivered an immersive study tour across Japan for 20 high-performing dealership Directors from Australia. Through guided technical sessions, product demonstrations and exclusive exposure to future innovation pipelines, participants gained deeper insights into the brand, its strategy and its long term vision.

Beyond the factory floor, attendees were immersed in Japanese culture through traditional experiences, local cuisine and thoughtfully curated encounters, creating meaningful moments they will reflect on for years to come.

Following the program, all participants reported increased confidence in their product knowledge and a stronger understanding of the company’s strategic direction, resulting in heightened brand advocacy, loyalty and alignment across the dealership network.

Study Tour 2: Bassano and Belluno, Venice - Italy

The Italian cities of Bassano and Belluno in Venice formed the foundation of this immersive study tour, attended by a select group of invited contractors. Designed to deliver valuable, first hand insight into manufacturing and operations of our clients brand, the program combined in depth factory visits with curated cultural experiences.

The journey began with a welcome dinner, allowing the group to connect, unwind and ease into the local culture and cuisine. Factory visits over the next 2 days provided comprehensive exposure to product manufacturing, complemented by presentations from senior site leaders offering valuable insight into operations, innovation and future direction. Interactive case study discussions further enhanced learning, encouraging participants to explore real world scenarios and gain new perspectives to apply within their own roles.

Beyond the technical sessions, the program was balanced with opportunities to experience the region. Guided tours, time to explore the local area and shared dining experiences created space for informal connection and deeper engagement with both peers and key Italian personnel. Highlights included continued access to factory environments, exposure to new and pipeline products and dedicated research and development presentations, alongside an exploration of the Prosecco region.

The final stage of the journey took place in Venice, where participants experienced the city’s iconic landmarks, from St Mark’s Square to its network of canals, bridges and hidden alleyways, offering a memorable cultural conclusion to the program.

Participants returned to Australia with a strengthened understanding of products, services and key personnel, along with renewed confidence and enthusiasm in representing the brand. The program delivered meaningful knowledge transfer and deeper alignment across the group and has since become a valued annual initiative, continuing to drive engagement, learning and long term commitment within the network.

Study Tour 3: San Francisco and Silicon Valley - USA

Our client in the technology sector invited a select group of channel partners to participate in this immersive reward and learning experience, designed to strengthen relationships and deepen understanding of their global operations. The program began in San Jose, in the heart of Silicon Valley, before continuing on to San Francisco.

The group of 50 guests, arrived with time to settle in ahead of a welcome dinner hosted in an exclusive private dining setting. Featuring a curated menu from a locally celebrated culinary talent, the evening provided a premium introduction to the destination while creating an opportunity for attendees to connect in a relaxed environment.

The core of the program centred around two full day conference experiences at the client’s headquarters. Attendees gained valuable insight into current and future business strategies through presentations, keynote sessions, panel discussions and live product demonstrations. These sessions were complemented by opportunities to explore the headquarters environment, connect with internal stakeholders and engage in group discussions that encouraged collaboration and shared learning.

Evenings continued the premium experience, including a private Michelin star dining experience that allowed guests to reflect on the day’s learnings while strengthening connections across the group.

Beyond the conference setting, participants explored San Francisco’s most iconic locations, including Alcatraz Island, Fisherman’s Wharf and City Hall, alongside guided city tours and time for personal discovery. A scenic group lunch provided a final opportunity to reconnect before departure.

Participants returned to Australia with a deeper understanding of the organisation’s global operations, stronger relationships with key stakeholders and renewed confidence and enthusiasm in their roles.
